media: digital - paint tool sai/bamboo capture
Probably the last creature I'll post up, because there are only three species that really show out in Captor. The rest are just background space, really. Sabue is the name of these, which is a short version of the word sabueso. Their head is supposed to be similar to that of a grey hound and therefore their anatomy is pretty much canine. I tried mapping out the skeleton and majority of the organs in pictures above to show the difference in placement. Sabues tails have hidden teeth that help them capture prey and hold other creatures down, or even just for moving wood or other objects in nature that are in their way. It tends to come in handy. They have four eyes, the main two, where they should be on a canine, are for basic sight. The other two are for underwater, as they have a special lens just like alligators and crocodiles. Which brings to the fact that they do swim - most of their prey is common animals like fish or birds, but if a Sabue is big enough and hunting for their family pack they'll try to go after Inus. Only Alpha Sabues can speak, however, similarly to only the Inu Ancestor can speak. Norns however can all speak.
