1/20 - 1/26
DOCUMENTATION:
REFLECTION: There was no school Monday, half day on Tuesday [and I got home at the same time as a normal day - 4:30], and no school Wednesday. In terms of CAPTOR I am actually a bit behind. Last week I updated three weeks worth of stuff to speed up the short chapter [4]. I'm skipping updating this week and then next week I'll start posting chapter 5. Reasoning? I want to be able to have enough material to post through the duration of senior showcase and part of main stage and then go a small hiatus, due to main stage. Right now I still have to outline 13 more pages until all of the chapter has lineart, and then color all of them. I might have to break my really organized chain of events and start coloring for next weeks blogs just to keep up with update schedule.
AOG: There's a few bumps and issues all regarding update speed as talked about above. They'll be easy fixes if I start working on the pages asides from blogging purposes. Normally everything non-blog related I work on is for other projects I work on with collaborators. Juggling several projects is rough, but I can fiddle with time management and speed up the process a bit with the "alone time" I have when no collaborators of mine are actually online to be able to work on our stuff. Senior showcase is still happening, to keep update on that.

11/13 - 11/19
Excused blogging: Jan 8, Jan 16, Jan 17 [all senior showcase rehearsals]
DOCUMENTATION:
AOG: Senior showcase is going decent - script changes keep occurring and now I'm designing set for Swagspeare. Plus all costumes for that one are solved out: a white T-shirt or something of that sort and whatever jeans - just pretty casual. Quick changes aren't going to be a thing that is possible. It's already hard changing the set around [all cubes]. We'll see how it goes hammering out the movement of it in the rehearsals to come. As for CAPTOR, still on track with the goal of "one page per half an hour." I worked a little extra this time because I forgot I had two excused blogs this week.
REFLECTION: Still in the outline process, I believe half way through chapter five now? It's going pretty smooth. It just takes me a few times to write certain letters properly without them looking wonky or anything. Otherwise, there isn't much to reflect on here. My lines are smooth and curvy and stuff. And they're existent. So yeah - I'll stop that here.

12/16 - 12/22
Excuse blogging: Homecoming concert on Friday
REFLECTION: This week on what I learned through my own comic: It is really hard to draw someone with no nose and one eye. Like it's very difficult to make their face look actually humanoid. Especially at different angles than completely forward or at a 45 degree angle of the sort left or right. Also I seem to enjoy action-y panels such as pg123 I believe that is shown? Much fun. On top of drawing these pages I've mapped out the update speed in correlation with a calendar and when I'll take a month or so hiatus in light of mainstage because of how hectic it gets. I'm safe whichever move I make but I got a pretty clear path in mind on how I'm gonna handle the uploads prior to my personal break.
AOG: On task - Rehearsals were canceled all last week and I wasn't on the email so I found out last minute, but that's chill because each night I was able to accomplish one page for CAPTOR which is what my goal remains at. Apperantly there may be a switch around with which plays are being produced in the show, actors, the dates, and locations and all. It's all on the fence from what I hear, but that's fine. Along more so with CAPTOR there are now 13/33 pages outlined. Doing a good speed.

12/9 - 12/15
Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday I went to Senior Showcase rehearsal. Tuesday we didn't have school due to weather conditions. Worked on more costumes for Swagspeare and started costume plates for FrankenDoll. Coming along at a good pace, but Swagspeare is the one I'm like dying over. 56 characters.
For Friday [and Tuesday as well, because I figured better safe than sorry for doing the two days I didn't have rehearsal] I worked on more CAPTOR pages.
AOG: 9/33 pages [excluding end of chapter page] are outlined. I don't have a solid plan asides get at least one page outlined per week so far because of Senior Showcase. But sticking to that so far - it's going good.
REFLECTION: The only trouble I've run into is trying to draw my cyclops looking character, Ivan, over and over again because he lacks a nose. But that's within the art itself and has an easy solution. Sometimes even writing the text for the third time causes frustration, but again, they're really easy fixes that take less than five seconds. Ctrl+Z is the best tool there is. When Senior Showcase ends [if it does during the marking period] I'll formulate a bigger weekly goal to match the overall goal. Might bump myself to do two pages per week and work 45/60 minutes instead of the 30.
On the fun fact side, CAPTOR turns 1 year old tomorrow, 12/16!!! How wonderful.
