Here you can see the artistic process of three graphic novels and a video game I'm working on: CAPTOR, SEVEN, AUTUMN [collaboration with Dylan Andrejic], and SWEET SCREAMS [collaboration with Jae Camedon].

CAPTOR [5]

media: gel pen

Norns are a really odd species. A lot is written in the picture, as it normally has been for the past week every time I show a traditional piece. But like said in the text, Norns are pretty rare creature, referring to their diet of another creature's life force/soul. Easy way to specify whether the Norn has more than one soul carrying around in it's shadows, as it's called, is if their shadowy figure starts getting rigged and kind of looks like torn fabric, like the two drawn at the bottom. Of course Norns get weaker after collecting so many souls, and at that point it's the reapers job to find them and knock them off with their weapons and send the souls back to Rob at the plant. There, depending on how long the Norn had the souls depends on how many souls were converted to Norn and how many stayed as the original creatures the Norn had stolen. From there, it's Rob's job to figure out whether to send them back out or mark them as unacceptable.

As a little bonus, here's the first picture I've ever drawn with a Norn in it.
